Welcome to Amazon Wildlife Peru

Welcome to Amazon Wildlife Peru!

We are an ecotourism company offering tours to exotic destinations in the Manu National Park. Our tours focus on enjoying wildlife and indigenous culture in natural areas while promoting conservation efforts. We work with local people and groups, such as the Matsiguenkas and Yines, to provide employment and benefits for the community. Our tours are carefully managed to minimize negative impacts on the environment and local culture, and reinvesting in the jungle is crucial for the continuation of life and to support the indigenous people who rely on tourism as a source of income.

We offer tours to the Manu National Park, the Manu Reserve Zone, and our private Bonanza Ecological Reserve located in the Cultural Zone of Manu. Our tours include a visit to the undisturbed wildlife of the Mammal's Clay Lick and the opportunity to see the Brazilian Tapir from our Camouflage House.

Amazon Wildlife Peru offers trekking tours in addition to wildlife tours, including the popular Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, alternate treks, and large trips around Peru.

Established in 1973 and designated as a Reserve Zone in 1977, the Manu National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987 due to its uniquely high biodiversity. It is one of the largest and most significant conservation units globally, protecting the entire virgin watershed from altitudes of 200 to 4100 meters above sea level.

On our tour, we traverse habitats in the Andes, including the Cloud Forest and lowland rainforest. In Manu, experience the best opportunities for wildlife sightings along the Manu and Madre de Dios Rivers and on trails. Witness a variety of creatures, such as Giant Otters, Caimans, Harpy Eagles, Jaguars, Giant Anteaters, Capybaras, Monkeys, Toucans, Macaws, Storks, and numerous other exotic Birds.
