He was born on December 1988, and was raised all his life in Manu area of Palotoa. As a child he and his family used natural resources to live. He studied primary and secondary school in the same place where he lived, later he moved to Cusco where he studied tourism at Instituto Tegnológico Antonio Lorena. As a jungle specialist, Saulo is very knowledgeable about birds, plants, animals, and insects of Manu. He is particularly passionate about the thousand of species of birds in Peru, always looking for different species, and studying their particularities in his free time. His goal is help to conserve and preserve the jungle, and he is passionate about sharing and teaching people about the nature and world within the Manu National Park.
